little blurb about the setup here. I’m going to ramble on and on and on about tech.

MIMIKYU
My custom-built PC that I’m endlessly grateful for..

I don’t even know the parts to my own PC, but I’ll write them here once I do . . .
There’s a few things I want to upgrade, someday, anyways . . .
✦ Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090ti FE

Shure SM7B + Cloudlifter & GoXLR
I specifically only use Røde XLR cables for no specific reason at all, mounted on an IXTECH boom arm.
Fun fact, I used to use an AudioTechnica AT2020 for vocal work! Unfortunately, that microphone broke after its sixth adventure. It got replaced by an Elgato Wave:3 microphone, and now we’re here!

Custom-built VR System
It’s still uncanny to me that it’s real.
- Bigscreen Beyond
- ViVE controllers & base stations
- Tundra trackers (x 4)
- SteamVR :}
Connected elements that can’t be left out.

Monitors & Peripherals.
Double monitor setup, which I do need to check the make and model of the pair . . .
I use exclusively Logitech Lift mice, due to nerve issues & carpal tunnel!

With its signature DAREU aqua switches. It’s been so smooth and nice to use

Elgato Stream Deck, Key Light, Stream Deck Pedal, and HD60 X
All of which provide so much benefit that I’m not sure I’d be able to work without them, now. They’re such wonderful additions to my setup and have made so much possible at the blink of an eye— such as toggling model hotkeys with a single button, instead of trying to press a combination of five keys.
Furthermore, my key light does light my entire space with ease, and provides ample visibility for my iPhone tracking. Paired with its ease of use regarding switching it on and off from multiple locations, it’s definitely one of my favourite parts of my setup.
.
HELIOLISK.
16-inch 2021 MacBook Pro (64GB, M1 Pro). My main workstation and a powerhouse of a device.
Heliolisk frequents programs like Clip Studio Paint, Blender, Logic Pro X, and Live2D Cubism, amongst others. It hosts most work streams,
Frequently used additions include:

Cintiq 22 + Pro Pen 3D.
My precious baby.

Tourbox Neo
Literally cannot work without it.

Blue Yeti Snowball / Elgato Wave:3
The two USB microphones that have made their home with Heliolisk.
I’m not going to lie, I tend to have preference towards using the Snowball with my Mac, since it’s pretty plug-in-and-go.

Elgato HD60 S capture card
Most frequently used to grab input from my switch! It’s quite seamless with my Mac, and I’ve never had any issues with it.

iPad.
My iPad used to be my primary drawing setup, and even fully run CSP, but since the arrival of my cintiq and more permanent workspace it’s become a secondary piece of technology (rip). It still remains to be my primary animating device, however; and I like to sculpt on it.
My frequent iPad programs are as follows:
Animation: ToonSquid
3D: Nomad Sculpt, Cozy Blanket, Forger
Pixel: Pixaki, Pixsquare
2D: ProCreate, Art Set 4, Feather
I also tend to prefer creating my concept boards on my iPad with VizRef!
Some frequent pairings.

Sketchboard Pro.
I’m pretty sure this is the only way I’ve been able to work so often from my iPad! It’s easy enough to game without it, but the minute I go to work from my iPad, I’ll always grab my sketchboard for extra supports.
